There has been a recent surge in reports of scammers trying to force their victims to pay fake tax debts over the phone.

As direct as the tax office can be from time to time, Thomas Ryan, an assistant commissioner at the ATO has stated that the ATO would never call taxpayers and demand payment in such a forceful and threatening way.

If you do have any outstanding tax debts or if you are unsure, please contact us so that you can get in front of the situation and know your position so that you never have to worry about these calls.

If you receive a suspicious phone call please direct them to us.
